The wide world of whiskey has taken me from DC to Virginia to Kentucky and back again in the past few months. Here’s a collection of some of my latest whiskey wonderings and wanderings.
At nearby Catoctin Creek, they have a new product ready to hit the market. It’s a four year old rye, the oldest they’ve ever released. I visited the team out in Purcellville, VA — and managed to sample some straight from the barrel.

I hit the American Whiskey Trail with DISCUS in May. There was certainly plenty of amazing whiskey drinking and touring, speaking with the likes of Chris Morris, Eddie Russell, Fred Noe, and Bill Samuels Jr. along the way.
