The latest edition of the Bethesda Dining News & Notes column is here, and there’s plenty of good stuff awaiting within. Let’s go…
Good news for Bethesda food truck fans, and anyone who loves a good deli sandwich. The Corned Beef King food truck now has a permanent home in Bethesda!
The truck will be parked in the lot for the Montgomery Farm Women’s Cooperative Market at 7155 Wisconsin Avenue. That’s right across the street from the Panera on one side, and from the Starbucks across Wisconsin Ave.
Expect the truck to be open from 11 to 9 pm every day of the week, and expect your Bethesda lunch game to be raised a notch.

OK, so technically it’s Chevy Chase, but it’s good nonetheless for Bethesda residents — Bryan Voltaggio’s Lunchbox is now open. The long-awaited quick casual sandwich spot from Voltaggio in the Chevy Chase Pavilion will be open daily from 11 to 9, and adds to the chef’s domination of the mall.
Check out the full menu for Lunchbox.
Now you have two new lunch spots with some rocking sandwiches to check out, Bethesda.

Lebanese Taverna is turning back the clocks with a special throwback to 1979 as they celebrate their 35th anniversary.
That means that they’ll be serving up some of their signature dishes at the same menu prices they were sold at in their opening year. And that means that you’ll be able to enjoy basically half-price or less dishes like their hummus and shawarma and kabobs.
In Bethesda, the turn back menu dates are August 20th and 21st.
